The National Youth Council actively operates nationwide with over 125 registered national and community-based youth civil society organisations. They provide information and support to youth on development opportunities. It is open to all youth and provides information on local opportunities, including jobs and internships.

The American Corner is a dedicated information area that helps visitors learn about the true history of the United States, provides youth access to English language resources and information about pursuing education in the United States. It organizes a series of debates on democracy and elections and provides mentorship programs for girls.

The Department of Labour is a specialized department functioning under the Ministry of Trade, Industry, Regional Integration and Employment. It is created to provide a coordinating role for employers, employees and their representatives in the employment and labour domains. The Department serves as an information hub for youth on employment services, provides counselling services for jobseekers and employers, registration and placement. It is also a key source of labour market information and labour migration opportunities.

Kanifing Municipal Youth Committee (KMYC) is established under the National Youth Council Act 2000. The Committee is mandated to coordinate, control, plan and support all youth related activities. It coordinates the activities of youth organisations registered with the National Youth Council (NYC) and/or KMYC in the municipality. It also does activities like community outreaches using different media and coordinates youth programs in the region. It provides information on internships, training, and other opportunities available to youth.

The National Youth Parliament (NYP) is a representative advocacy network of young people across the Gambia. NYP works to develop the capacity of young people in order to enable them to contribute to national development through effective leadership and advocacy. NAQAA is the national institution that regulates, supervises and monitors all public and private skills training providers and non-degree and degree-awarding higher education institutions. It sets the eligibility criteria for the establishment of tertiary and higher education institutions. NAQAA can be a good source of information for youth interested to know which institutions offers courses that are accredited. It provides information on educational pathways to enhance the credit transfer system and determines the validity and equivalence of certificates, diplomas and other qualifications awarded by institutions within and outside The Gambia.

Bansang Youth Center is a non-profit, youth development organization. It is dedicated to youth development through emphasis on childhood education, leadership skills, community awareness and physical fitness. The centre has a conference hall, meeting place, outdoor basketball court, rooms for rent and a stage including a light system. It also runs a computer lab equipped with high-speed internet and Wi-Fi. It is an information hub for youth in the area.
