All foreign nationals wishing to enter Guinea are eligible for an eVisa, except for citizens of countries exempted from visa requirements under bilateral agreements with Guinea. Before applying, please verify if your country is exempted from visa requirements. 

To apply for an eVisa for Guinea, follow these steps: 

1. Visit the official eVisa website.
2. Prepare the required documents: You will need to scan and upload the following documents: 

• Passport data page: A scanned copy of the personal information page of your valid passport, valid for at least six months. 
• Recent passport-sized photograph with a white background. 
• Return flight reservation confirmation. 
• Yellow fever vaccination certificate. 
• Additional documents depending on the type of visa (e.g., letter of appointment, proof of accommodation). 

3. Complete the online application form with accurate personal and travel information. 
4. Pay the visa fee: The visa fee varies, depending on the type and duration of the visa. Payment is made online during the application process. 
5. Receive your visa approval letter: After submission, you will receive an acknowledgment of receipt and the status of your application via email. The processing time is up to 72 hours from the date of submission. If approved, you will receive an entry visa letter. 
6. Print your eVisa approval letter. This letter is crucial and must be presented upon arrival at the points of entry in Guinea. 
7. Upon arrival in Guinea, proceed to the visa counter at Conakry Airport or other entry points for the visa sticker to be printed. Your photograph and fingerprints will be recorded before the visa is issued

Guinea issues eight types of visas to foreign nationals: 

1. Single entry visa (VCS): Valid for stays not exceeding 90 days. Requirements: 
   1. Passport valid for at least six months. 
   2. Scanned copy of the passport data page. 
   3. Recent passport-sized photograph with a white background. 
   4. Valid return ticket. 
   5. Yellow fever vaccination certificate. 
2. Long-term visa (VLS): Issued to foreigners intending to reside in Guinea. Valid for one year from the date of issuance. Additional requirements include: 
   1. Proof of repatriation guarantee. 
   2. Approved employment contract (for those seeking employment). 
   3. Authorisation to practice a profession or promote an activity (if applicable). 
   4. Marriage certificate (for spouses) or proof of parental relationship (for minor children). 
   5. Enrolment certificate from an educational institution (for students). 
   6. Internship agreement (for interns). 
3. Multiple entry visa (VESRM): For nationals of countries with special treaties with Guinea. Validity ranges from 3 to 5 years, depending on bilateral agreements. Requirements are similar to that of single-entry visas. 
4. Visa extension (VP): Granted based on the type of previously issued visa. Requirements: 
   1. Passport or travel document. 
   2. Recent passport-sized photograph with a white background. 
   3. Scanned copy of the previous visa (VCS/VESRM). 
5. Transshipment or transit visa (VTB): Valid for 3 to 5 days. Requirements: 
   1. Passport valid for at least six months. ù
   2. Scanned copy of the passport data page. 
   3. Recent passport-sized photograph with a white background. 
   4. Valid onward ticket to the final destination. 
   5. Visa or entry authorisation for the final destination country (if applicable). 
   6. Yellow fever vaccination certificate. 
6. Service visa (VS): Issued by the competent authority. Requirements: 
   1. Valid passport or travel document. 
   2. Scanned copy of the passport data page. 
   3. Recent passport-sized photograph with a white background. 
   4. Letter of appointment or mission order. 
7. Diplomatic visa (VD): Issued to holders of diplomatic passports. Requirements: 
   1. Valid diplomatic passport or travel document. 
   2. Scanned copy of the passport data page. 
   3. Recent passport-sized photograph with a white background. 
   4. Letter of appointment. 
8. Courtesy visa (VC): Issued by the competent authority. Requirements: 
   1. Valid passport or travel document. 
   2. Scanned copy of the passport data page. 
   3. Recent passport-sized photograph with a white background. 
   4. Letter of appointment. 

At entry checkpoints in Guinea, the following documents are required: valid passport (with more than six months validity), your eVisa approval letter or registration receipt, sufficient funds to cover expenses during your stay in Guinea (cash, travellers' checks, debit or credit cards), confirmed return flight ticket, and proof of accommodation (hotel reservation or invitation letter).

• The online eVisa application does not guarantee visa issuance. Your application may be accepted or denied by the authorities, and fees are non-refundable. 
• Visa fees are collected by the administration to process the visa application. The amount collected is retained even in the case of a visa refusal.
