This department is responsible for handling all matters related to scholarships and study grants, both in Niger and abroad. It manages the application process, ensures that scholarship recipients meet their academic commitments, and maintains records of beneficiaries.  

You may also consider fully funded Fulbright Foreign Student Program in the USA, Chevening Scholarship in the UK, Australia Awards in Australia, Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship in Switzerland, DAAD scholarship in Germany and many more for pursuing your study in abroad. Another notable programme is the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (ICM) Scholarship which provides funding for students from partner countries, including Senegal, to study at European universities.

A recent update from CAMES announced that, ahead of the 2024-2025 academic year, CAMES is providing information on its accreditation system for training programmes. The aim is to help students choose CAMES-accredited programmes under its "Diploma Recognition and Equivalence Program (PRED)" which ensures that degrees meet CAMES quality standards and align with international benchmarks, thereby enhancing graduates' employability. 

For Nigerien citizens, specific degrees such as the Licence, Maîtrise, Diplôme d'Études Approfondies, Diplôme d'Ingénieur, Master, and Doctorat can be evaluated for a Statement of Comparability, which is often required for degree recognition in foreign countries. However, degrees like the Brevet de Technicien Supérieur (B.T.S.), Diplôme de Technicien Supérieur (D.T.S.), and others are not typically included in these evaluations.

1. Air travel 

• Cost: Generally, more expensive, but prices vary by destination and airline. 
• Documentation: Requires a valid passport, visa (if needed), and possibly vaccination certificates. 
• Time: The fastest option. For instance, Niamey to Paris takes about 5-6 hours, while Niamey to Dakar takes 3-4 hours.
